Parkrose High School's freshman orientation program was featured in an Oregonian article on August 14:
Parkrose launched its first Summer Success Stampede this week, citing research that shows that 60 percent of freshmen who fail two or more classes will drop out. About 90 students showed up, out of 240 incoming freshmen.
