Nozzl: a Pilot Project

ParkroseGateway.com is pleased to announce that we'll soon be piloting a Nozzl widget from Nozzl Media, a Portland company that "builds custom, real-time and local news streams." 

What does that mean? Well, a Nozzl widget contains a real-time stream that may include local Twitter feeds, public records information, emergency information, and blog feeds.  You might see what people in Parkrose are tweeting about, who recently sold their house, what's going on with all those police cars down the street, or what's happening down at the local school, all in real-time before we can even report on it!

The widget will appear in the right sidebar, so you'll be able to see regular ParkroseGateway.com content along with the real-time stream.

Nozzl Media is providing a widget to ParkroseGateway.com in order to demonstrate how a hyperlocal stream works. They're also developing products for larger media companies.

We don't have a start date for the widget yet; details will be forthcoming!
