Sacred Grounds Coffee Shop is actually part of the Quality Inn and Suites at the Portland Airport. It’s also part of a church! The Eastside Foursquare Church owns and operates the hotel and coffee shop, and they hold their regular church services and groups and stuff in the conference room(s).
The coffee shop has a really calm and peaceful atmosphere; perfect for either getting some work done or for having good conversation with friends. There are abundant tables, plus a sofa and armchair nook. The decor is reddish, and the room is softly lit, yet bright enough to work comfortably. Coffee is good, although I’m no coffee snob (they feature Tully’s coffee), and they serve soup, sandwiches and baked goodies as well. I highly recommend this coffee shop, especially if you have writing or other work that you need to get done outside the house! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (0 reviews)
This Starbucks location shares a building with a Quizno's restaurant and is located north of Kohls in the Gateway Shopping Center. It's a fairly small space that can be quite busy - I met someone there tonight and we got the last table and had to scrounge chairs from other tables.
They have the standard Starbucks food and beverage offerings. I can recommend the new Skinny Cinnamon Dolce Latte. It tasted much better than 90 calories. :-) |
