Parkrose Farmers' Market is open at Parkrose High School every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through the end of October. In addition, the market is now offering a Sunday Edition from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at NE 136th and Sandy Boulevard.

Montavilla Farmers' Market is open in the 7600 block of SE Stark on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through October 31. They'll also be open the weekend before Thanksgiving for holiday shoppers.

The Parkrose Farmers' Market at Parkrose High School until recently has been marked by a high-flying green and white blimp advertising its location. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, the blimp was somehow unleashed from its position and floated away.

The market is still offering a $100 reward for the return of the blimp in good condition, but they have now obtained a replacement blimp. "Everybody really wanted one, so we purchased a new one and launched it this weekend," said market master Steve Voorhees.

If anyone finds the original blimp, the market would still like it back. It's about ten feet long and four feet wide, with the Parkrose Farmers' Market logo on it. The finder can write his or her name and the place found on the blimp and mail or bring it to the market (see http://parkrosefarmersmarket.org for contact information).
